2006 Scholarship Recipients

Since the charter of the MuPi chapter in 1974, over $100,000 has been awarded to deserving students who intend on furthering their education. Brother Joe Broadus currently chairs this committee. A certain criteria has to be met in order to receive the $625 one time scholarship.

The committee met on June 3, 2006, for the purpose of selecting four individuals to receive one time scholarships in the amount of $625.00 each. A total of fourteen applications were received and considered.

The committee decided on the following individuals as recipients on the one time scholarships.

Applicants were notified via US mail of their status regarding the scholarship awards. All information submitted by the recipients was shredded (financial information, references letters, etc) with the exception of the applications form submitted by the recipients. A verification of enrollment form was also sent to the recipients. They are to have their institution to verify their enrollment and return the form to the chapter. Once the verification is received, the scholarship award will be paid to the institution, not directly to the recipient.
