We hope that you enjoyed the evening and activities we planned for you. The Mu Pi Chapter Brothers would like to thank you for your support and continued support of not only the Mardi Gras, but our other community enhancement efforts. These efforts include annual scholarship awards, annual Talent Hunt program, the Black Heritage Bowl, annual Achievement Week Program, a male mentoring program at a local elementary school, annual blood drive, annually sponsoring 4 young men to the 6 th District Boys Camp, and the Adopt A Highway project along Staunton Bridge Road. The Chapter also financially supports and has membership with the NAACP, the College Fund, and the Phillis Wheatley Association to name a few.
This year marked Mu Pi’s Thirty Second year of Mardi Gras celebration in Greenville. Each and every year have been successful because you, the community, and your support.
The Mu Pi Chapter is committed to community service and community enhancement. We plan to continue doing this through healthy, productive partnerships and collaborations. We humbly note our responsibility to you. We solicit your prayers and support as we attempt to be good community servants.
We hope you had a great time this weekend. All profits raised in the Mardi Gras effort will be used to fund our scholarship effort. Please know that your support has a direct, tangible end result.
Again the Brothers of the Mu Pi Chapter thank you for all your support.
Sincerely,
Ulysses S. G. Sweeney, IV
